Sudokugitterpentominorundweg a la MaTaRu - schwierigere Version

In den neun 3x3 Sudokugitterquadraten sollen acht mal drei verschiedene Rätselformen (MAsyu, TApa, RUndweg) so benutzt werden, dass die entsprechenden Zeichen und Ziffern NUR innerhalb eines 3x3 Quadrates gelten. In jeder Zeile bzw. Spalte gibt es jede Rätselform nur jeweils einmal.
Lösungscode: Zuerst die Anzahl der Felder ausserhalb des Pentominorundweges im Uhrzeigersinn oben links beginnend danach die beiden Diagonalen jeweils von oben nach unten (der entsprechende Buchstabe für ein Pentominofeld und ein - für ein leeres Feld)!

After figuring out what was meant by the solution code instructions. I think the English translation should be:
Concatenate the following:
- First, the sizes of the (orthogonally connected) regions comprised of the cells outside the pentomino loop, in clockwise order starting from the top left region.
- Then, the two diagonals (using the corresponding letter for a pentomino cell and a "-" for an empty cell):
- top left to bottom right
- top right to bottom left

Would someone mind translating the instructions for the solution code?
Google translate gives me: First the number of squares outside the pentomino circuit clockwise starting at the top left, then the two diagonals from top to bottom (the corresponding letter for a pentomino square and a - for an empty square)!
but it's unclear to me:
- what first part is (ie. there's a total count, but then the clockwise ordering wouldn't make sense). Is it perhaps referring to the 3x3 squares in a clockwise order?
- whether the inner 3x3 square is considered for the diagonals, if it's not used by the circuit
