Sudoku Variants Series (098) - Edge Differences

For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a different Sudoku variant every Tuesday. I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.

Edge Differences
Apply classic sudoku rules. Additionally, clues outside the grid indicate the difference between the first and the last digit in the corresponding row or column.

Solve online in F-Puzzles (thx bbutrosghali!)

Solution code: Row 4, followed by column 4.

Figured it out myself. The order of the first and the last digit in a row or column doesn't matter for a difference clue.

@Richard, I don't quite get the difference rule. Does the first digit in a row have to be greater than the last digit in this row, or are we dealing with absolute values here?
