The scariest thing to read in braille: "Do not touch."

Thanks for the fun puzzle.

@Cyraneo: That's nice to read!
The earlier puzzles in the Series are pretty much suitable for less-experienced players. And by the time you have solved those, you are experienced enough to solve the later ones as well. :-)

After completing this puzzle, I was compelled to register so I could comment.

As a relative beginner to sudoku, I found this puzzle very satisfying. At first my pencil-marking was fairly minimal but I hit a roadblock that made it necessary to methodically mark every cell. I did so, hoping that marking the whole grid would not be necessary and that some easy logic would jump out.

This was not the case. With a fully pencil-marked grid, I sat and stared. Either I had made a mistake, which happens fairly frequently, or there was some logic that I needed to notice. I persevered and eventually it occurred to me that with the constraint being what it was, I could try to look for some kind of triple or quad that did not follow the classic rules.

Finally I spotted a likely area of tension, but I am still not experienced enough to have known immediately what to do. I stared and stared at this area, thinking, "If this cell was x, then this would be y" and "If this cell was not x, then this cell would be x" and other similar thoughts that hurt my beginner brain until, at last, the penny dropped and the puzzle began to unravel before my eyes.

I enjoyed this immensely. For a beginner, this was very difficult but simple enough that it was possible to figure out the logic by persevering. It took me an hour and it was an hour well-spent. I think I will always remember this puzzle as a very satisfying turning point in my experience with sudoku. Thanks Richard!

This was quite challenging in the middle. But once I spotted the trick, it then went smoothly. Lovely puzzle!
