Ascending nonconsecutive sudoku

Place the digits from 1 tot 9 in every row, column and 3x3-block. The digits on the grey lines are ascending from one end to the other end.

Adjacent cells cannot contain consecutive digits.

Solution code: Row 1, followed by column 7.

I have written a hidden comment to explain the logic solving route through the puzzle. It is based on the intrinsic logic of non-consecutive in combination with ascending/descending chains.
